review in lite magazine
The Lifestyle & Technik magazine lite has reviewed our CD player and D/A converter PLAYER II.
Editor Volker Frech came to the conclusion:
“With the PLAYER II, Accustic Arts sets an audiophile exclamation mark: The CD player shines with an outstanding top loader drive and an excellent DAC, which provides highly accurate, low-jitter conversion with its upsampling and converts HiRes files up to PCM 192 Kilohertz/24 Bit and DSD files up to DSD128. It also provides this capability as a stand-alone DAC via three S/PDIF inputs and one USB input. With its digital outputs, the Player II can also be used as a pure CD transport. With its analog outputs, on the other hand, it excels by offering both an unbalanced and a slightly superior balanced connection. But this is a graduation on the highest level, because the Player II delivers a playback on the whole, which is characterized by breathtaking imaging power, excellent spatial staggering and dynamic delicacy. In addition, the precise sampling provides a calm and relaxed atmosphere, which further enhances the listening pleasure. Thus, the Player II offers the finest transformation, especially for audiophile recordings and reference recordings”.
