For the CD module, the new CD Pro-8 as the replacement of the legendary Philips CDPro2 finds application.<\/p>\n<p>The important features of the PLAYER II include 4 digital inputs (XLR, coaxial, optical and USB) and the USB input works according to the latest asynchronous DSD256 technology. <\/p>\n<p>The PLAYER II is not only a top class CD TOP Loader, but also an externally usable D \/ A converter, which has both a coaxial and an asynchronous USB input for HD audio and DSD. Via these inputs, e.g. a laptop, MAC or PC, but also another digital source device. <\/p>\n<p>The heart of the PLAYER II is the new CD Pro-8 transport, which has been embedded in a massive, resonance-optimized ALU block. The excellent sounding D \/ A converter used in the PLAYER II works on the sophisticated 32\/384 upsampling principle.
